Fatty acid profile data

Fatty acid profile data are information about the percentage of the main fatty acids,usually limited by a cut-off value. Fatty acid profiles are often determined using the MIS MIDI system.

In BacDive, fatty acid data are always accompanied by metadata. Considering the incubation medium and temperature is essential for the interpretation of fatty acid data, as these parameters heavily influence the composition of the profile.
