BacDive does not sell strains
BacDive does not sell strains. If you want to buy strains, please directly contact a culture collection. To visit the culture collection catalogue entries for a strain you found in BacDive, click the culture collection numbers at the top of the strain entries. If you would like to order from the DSMZ, search the DSMZ catalogue.
Change proposals#
On the BacDive website, each data point has its own change proposal button through which errors can be reported and changes to the data proposed.

Clickung the change proposal button next to a data field, brings the user to a specific form to propose a change to this field. A change proposal needs to be supported by a published reference.

Zammad#
We are using Zammad to manage and answer your tickets and requests. When users make contact via the BacDive contact form or via Email, Zammad tickets are automatically created. Answers via Zammad are always sent to users by Email.
Users can also log into the DSMZ Digital Diversity Zammad Helpdesk directly at https://helpdesk.digital-diversity.dsmz.de and send and manage their tickets to BacDive, BRENDA, and SILVA through the Zammad user interface. When creating a ticket to the BacDive team in Zammad, make sure to choose 'Group' BacDive.
